The Maltshovel's pub quiz is extremely popular for two reasons. Firstly, it's the best quiz in town, and secondly, substantial prizes can be won. Most teams have been competing regularly since February 2001.

But, be warned, teams have to send a representative along at least an hour ahead of the start time to ensure they secure the necessary seats for their team....
