There are a number of goodies coming up
in the near future that we are proud to support and
promote....
British Food Fortnight - Sat 20th Sept
to Sun 5th Oct.
Cask Beer Week - Fri 18th Sept to Sun 28th Sept.
Horsham Beer Festival - Sun 28th Sept at the Drill
Hall, Denne Road
Tickets for the latter are £3
each from our friend Gareth Jones at The Beer essentials
in East Street (Tel 01403 218890). Included in the
price is a Festival Glass. Hours are from 12 noon
- 4.00 pm. Twenty five cask beers from around the
country will be available. Rumour has it that there's
a free beer for ticket holders!
Steve has teamed up with the Horsham
Bacon Factory and Steve's brilliant ham will feature
prominently, so tuck in and feast yourselves!

- Best Pub Awards....
Steve has decided it will be a jolly fine
thing to enter for the Morning Advertiser's Best Pub
Awards 2004. There are seventeen categories of award,
but we will be up for the Cask Beer Pub and our website.
We don't suppose we've a got a cat in hell's chance
of winning, but we're going to have a bash. (You can't
win anything unless you enter).
We think this is the best picture and it will be
used to support our bid for the 2004 Best Pub awards!
