2003 Tour
to Bristol....
Report Tuesday,
1st July, 1000 - It's been raining. Most will
be playing golf - brollies to the ready.
Report Monday,
30th June, 12:20 - Report from Nigel Baker.
They are at the Club House and it's currently drizzling.
Nigel had to put his lunch down to answer the phone.
His chips were being nicked as he spoke. He feels
some fines coming on. The weather is brightening up
and he's optimistic that there will be some cricket
later....
Report Monday,
30th June,10.00 am - Today is the first day
of the tour. Weather and cricket news links have just
been added to the web site so of course it's raining.
You can check the weather in Bristol (or Horsham)
by clicking on the new weather link.
Here are a few essential tour items. It occurs to
me that an umbrella should have been on the list.
We fully expect to encounter some bouncers
(both on and off the field), some unplayable deliveries,
persitent sledging and the use of the sweep is likely
to result in a duck, the wearing of which around one's
neck is mandatory, until someone else gets one. And
then of course there is the dreaded Fines Committee
(bring your own kangaroo)!
