In common with many small village Cricket Clubs, we sometimes struggle to make ends meet. As we aim to keep the cost of membership of the club as low as possible in order to make membership attractive and the cost of playing cricket as low as possible, our margins are very small indeed.

We only have to have a few fixtures rained off during the season and the lost revenue can leave us in the red, rather than the black.

We are therefore very grateful to our sponsors. We'd like to encourage more people to sponsor us. Sponsorship need not be an expensive undertaking. A cricket ball for a league match is now £25. With 32 League matches a season, that adds up to a tidy sum.

If another ten businesses or individuals would come cover the cost of the ball for a match, that would make a very considerable difference to our club finances.
