The curse of small changing rooms
Gullick
Cup 2004....
in previous years BBHCC has entered the
Mirfield Cup Competition. Unfortunately there are
some very strong teams entered and, on the basis that
it's no fun being stuffed out of site, it was decided
to enter the Gullick Cup instead as the Malt Shovellers
XI.
Our next
Gullick Cup Match....
On next match is on Monday 21st June versus
Forest Boys at Horsham CC 6.15 pm start. If you can
play, please let John Barnet know asap.

Tuesday, 8th June - BBHCC
v Feeder Cricks....
BBHCC won the toss and batted first. We
found runs hard to come by and lost wickets on a regular
basis. We posted 103 runs for the loss of seven wickets.
In reply Feeded Cricks batted strongly and despite
losing five wickets they achieved the target with
thee overs to spare.
Tuesday,
25th May 2004 - BBHCC v County Times All Stars....
iBBHCC skipper John Barnett won the toss
and decided to bat on a glorious evening. BBHCC put
their pedal to the metal with Matt Shuttlewood scoring
a quick fire 50 and Martin Flack scoring a fine 60.
Their efforts enabled BBHCC to post a total of 170.
In reply, the All Stars lost wickets
on a regular basis and struggled to achieve the required
run rate. At the end of their fifteen overs they were
145 for five wickets, leaving BBHCC the winners by
a comfortable 25 runs.
Some action picures were taken by Kerry
Johnston

Tuesday,
18th May 2004 - BBHCC v Crabtree Cavaliers....
iCrabtree Cavaliers won the toss and batted
first. They found runs hard to come by against some
tidy bowling and enthusiatic fielding. BBHCC were
required to score a very modest 104 for victory. Martin
Flack and Tim Wells flayed the ball to all parts with
Tim falling to a spectacular catch at long on. BBHCC
cruised home with several overs to spare.
